The press is like a feral beast

In one of his final speeches before stepping down as Prime Minister of Britain, Tony Blair held an unflattering mirror up to the press. His widely reported speech (it was reproduced in The Straits Times) is likely to strengthen Singapore leaders in their conviction that press freedom is overrated.
